You can use MyCast&Crew to sign up for direct deposit in partnership with Plaid, the bridge between MyCast&Crew and your bank. Learn more about Plaid and why it's safe here.
Before you begin:

- You’ll need to have a registered account for MyCast&Crew. If you need to register, see this article here.
This article shows you how to perform this task in both Classic and New experiences.
Steps for Classic Experience
Watch: Setting Up Direct Deposit
Head to my.castandcrew.com and log in to your MyCast&Crew account with your email address and password.
Once logged in, click the Direct Deposit tab.
On the Direct Deposit page, you can click either Get started or + Add account to begin the setup process:
Follow the on-screen instructions to verify your identity.
You'll be prompted to confirm your bank accepts the currency being paid by the production. Click I understand:
Next, you will walk through adding your bank account via Plaid. Learn more about Plaid and why it's safe here.
You can enter your phone number here to see if Plaid has a bank account associated with your phone number. Otherwise, click "Continue without phone number":
You will be navigated to Plaid where you will be able to search and find your bank institute and use your login information to connect your bank account to direct deposit.
To connect your bank account to Plaid, you'll be asked to enter the login credentials (typically your username and password) that you use when accessing your account through your bank's official website. Plaid will never ask for your debit/bank card PIN. Learn more about Plaid and why it's safe here.
Click here to view a list of Canadian institutions that are available on Plaid. If your bank is not available or you cannot find your bank, please contact our Employee Helpdesk for assistance in setting up your direct deposit.
Once your account is successfully linked, click Continue. To complete your direct deposit setup, you can enter your phone number or click "Finish without saving".
You'll be prompted to accept and acknowledge the terms for direct deposit. Click Accept:
You'll see your direct deposit information on the direct deposit page where you can:
- By selecting + Add account, you can add up to three bank accounts and choose how you'd like your pay to be distributed between them.
- Select your Preferences: You have the option to receive emails when new paystubs are available, as well as the option to go paperless to view your paystubs online.
- Once you’ve chosen your preferences, accept your acknowledgment by clicking Save.
| Note: You can still update your paystub notification settings by going to Pay Stub > Settings. If you opt in to receive email notifications, please allow up to two business days for changes to be applied. |
You can add up to three accounts.
Editing Your Direct Deposit
Select Edit to make any updates to your direct deposit details.

Tip 💡: You can turn off direct deposit at any time by selecting Turn off direct deposit in the Profile > Direct Deposit tab. |
While in edit mode, you can add a bank account for split payments, remove an existing account, and update your paystub preferences.
You can easily remove an account or turn off direct deposit at any time by visiting this section and clicking Delete Account.
Select Save once all updates have been made.
Splitting Paystubs Between Multiple Accounts
If you would like to split your pay stubs into multiple accounts, you can add up to three accounts to do so.
In the Direct Deposit section, click + Add account.
You will once again use Plaid to add another account to your Direct Deposit.
Once you have selected the account(s) you prefer, you can use the Direct Deposit section to split up the paystub amounts desired:
Choose between splitting by Percentage or Dollar amount, then enter the amount you’d like to allocate to each account.
To rearrange an account by priority, use the arrows or select and drag each account. The last account listed will automatically receive the remaining balance after your splits have been applied.
Once you've set your splits and account priorities, select Save to confirm your acknowledgment.
Your direct deposit is now set up! You can return to the Profile tab > Direct Deposit anytime to make updates.
