This release included the following updates:
Adding New Allowances to Accepted Offers
What's New
- Allowances can now be added to offers that crew members have already accepted, not just to offers still pending acceptance
- Compensation updates that come in late can be handled directly in the existing offer, keeping the record in one place
Add Allowance button is now enabled on accepted offers.
Why It Changed
You told us that compensation terms don't always get finalized before a crew member accepts. When they changed post-acceptance, there was nowhere to update them inside the platform, which meant workarounds, new offer cycles, or adjustments that happened outside the system entirely. That's the gap this closes.
Why It Matters
- Saves time for production teams when comp terms change after acceptance; no need to pull back an offer or start a new one
- Keeps the full offer record together, so there's no risk of compensation details living off-platform
- Reduces back-and-forth with crew when deal terms evolve after they've already signed
What You'll Need to Do Differently
| Previously | Now |
| Allowances could only be added while an offer was pending acceptance. Post-acceptance comp changes required a new offer or an off-platform adjustment. | Navigate to the accepted offer and add allowances using the existing allowance section exactly as you would on a pending offer. No new offer needed. |
Sending a New I-9 to an Existing Offer
What's New
- A new I-9 can now be issued directly from an offer that already has a completed I-9 on file, which can be used when a correction is needed
- The original I-9 is preserved in the offer's audit history. Both forms are visible, so your records stay complete and compliant.
- The crew member receives the new form to complete from scratch, with no disruption to other steps in their onboarding
Why It Changed
When a completed, verified I-9 contained errors that couldn't be rejected back, there was no path to issue a correction through Start+. That left teams resolving the issue manually or outside the system, creating compliance gaps and inconsistent records. You needed a clean, trackable way to handle I-9 corrections without going offline.
Why It Matters
- Gives your team a clean path for I-9 corrections without workarounds, offline processes, or contacting support
- Preserves full audit history: both the original and corrected I-9 remain visible on the offer
- Reduces compliance risk by keeping the entire I-9 lifecycle, including corrections, inside the platform
What You'll Need to Do Differently
| Previously | Now |
| Only one I-9 was allowed per offer. Correcting a completed, verified I-9 required manual intervention or resolution outside the platform. | Go to the offer on Manage Offers and check the checkbox to send additional documents. The I-9 form will be available for selection in the existing Send Additional Document modal. |
