Start+ allows offer corrections to avoid rejecting and re-creating offers for employees.
Depending on the status of the offer, you will have certain corrections available:
- Pre-accepted Offers: You can edit any field/detail of the offer
- Post-accepted Offers: You can edit only the start date and add new allowances
Employees, when reviewing their offer, and those with offer management permissions can take advantage of these flexible offer corrections.

Receiving an Offer Correction from an Employee
If an employee requests a correction to their offer, you will see “Change Requested” as the offer status on the Manage Offers tab (you will also receive an email notification). Click on the icon next to the status to view the change requested:
You will see why the employee requested the change based on the comment they entered. Click Edit Offer to edit the offer:

Tip: You can also click the three vertical dots menu and choose “View Request” to see the change request comment, or click “Edit Offer” to begin corrections: |
You will be taken to the offer to make the corrections. At the top of the offer, you will see comment left by the employee as well as the option to ‘Decline & Review Original’.
Once you have finished making corrections, click Review in the bottom right corner:
On the next screen, confirm the new offer details, and if all looks correct, click Send offer:
The employee will receive an email notification inviting them to review their updated offer.
Correct Any Offer In-flight
You can make corrections to any in-flight offer as well, no need to have the employee request corrections.

Note: What can be edited depends on the status of the offer:

Find the offer you need to correct on the “Manage Offers” tab, click the three vertical dots menu to the right of the row, and click Edit Offer:
You’ll be taken to the offer with fields open for corrections. Once all corrections are made, click Review in the bottom right corner:

Note: If you attempt to edit an offer that is post-acceptance, you will be notified of the changes are you are able to make at the top of the offer: |
Review the details of the corrected offer, and if all looks correct, click Yes, Resend it to {Employee’s name}:
The employee will receive an email notification inviting them to review their offer.
