If you are unable to find your bank institution on Plaid, you will need to enter your bank account and routing numbers manually. This will enable Plaid to verify your account using micro-deposits to set up direct deposit. Plaid will match your information with what is on file at the financial institution.
This article shows you how to perform this task in both Classic and New experiences.
Steps for Classic Experience
Head to my.castandcrew.com and log in to your MyCast&Crew account with your email address and password.
Once logged in, you can either click Profile or if Direct Deposit is one of your tasks in the “My Tasks” list, you can click Set Up.
Scroll to the bottom of the page in the "Direct Deposit" section and click Get Started:
Follow the on-screen instructions to verify your identity.
Next, click + Add a bank account:
You will be navigated to Plaid, a secure bank verification system that we use to safely set up your direct deposit.
Search for your bank. If Plaid can't find your bank institution, scroll down and click Link with account numbers.
Enter your routing number. Click Continue.
Enter your account number. Click Continue.
Confirm your account number for verification and security purposes.
Enter your full name as it shows on your bank account records. Click Continue.
Select if you want to connect your Checking or Savings account. Click Continue.
Please take a moment to review the Plaid authorization and click Authorize. This step gives Plaid permission to initiate micro-deposits into your provided account.
Don’t worry if you see a credit amount appearing as a separate transaction in your bank account. This is just a temporary measure to confirm your account.
The bank will then reverse the deposit with a single DEBIT for the total of the micro-deposit to the account.
A "Success" message will show to prompt you to return to MyCast&Crew in one business day and verify the deposit has arrived in your account. Click Continue.
You'll be navigated back to MyCast&Crew where you'll give your bank a name. Click Save.
The Status will show "Pending user verification" until you have verified the microdeposit.
On the next business day, log back into your MyCast&Crew account.
Check your bank transactions and locate the micro-deposit. Then, click Complete Verification.
Enter the 3-letter code in the transaction name after the # symbol and click Continue.
After verifying the deposit, your account will be successfully linked to your MyCast&Crew account. .
Once your account is successfully linked, click Continue to complete your direct deposit setup.
- By selecting + Add a bank account, you can add up to three bank accounts and choose how you'd like your pay to be distributed between them.
- Select your Preferences: You have the option to receive emails when new paystubs are available, as well as the option to go paperless to view your paystubs online.
- Once you’ve chosen your preferences, accept your acknowledgment by clicking Agree & save.
| Note: You can still update your pay stub notification settings by going to Pay Stub > Settings. If you opt in to receive email notifications, please allow up to two business days for changes to be applied. |
Once saved, you'll return to your Profile page, where you can edit your direct deposit details if needed.
Editing your Direct Deposit
Select Edit to make any updates to your direct deposit details.

Tip 💡: You can turn off direct deposit at any time by selecting Turn off direct deposit in the Profile > Direct Deposit tab. |
While in edit mode, you can add a bank account for split payments, remove an existing account, and update your paystub preferences.
You can easily remove an account or turn off direct deposit at any time by visiting this section and clicking Delete Account.
Once you're satisfied with your direct deposit setup, click Agree & save.
Your direct deposit is now set up! If you ever need to make modifications to your direct deposit, you can do so by returning to Profile > Direct Deposit and selecting Edit.
Steps for New Experience
Head to my.castandcrew.com and log in to your MyCast&Crew account with your email address and password.
