MyCast&Crew: Are you trying to file exempt on your Federal W-4 but are unable to check off the box?

This article shows you how to perform this task in both Classic and New experiences.

Steps for Classic Experience

To file "exempt" on a Federal W-4 follow the steps below or watch the video here:

1. Head to your MyCast&Crew portal at my.castandcrew.com.
2. Click the W-4s tab in the top navigation bar.
3. Click Add New W-4.
4. Select Federal W-4. 
5. Before you fill out the W-4, scroll down and check off the “Exempt” Box.
6. Fill in the rest of the W-4 form.

Steps for New Experience
