Accessing General Project Settings – Account Codes
After selecting your project, click Project Settings in the project workspace navigation:
After reaching the Project Settings page, click Account Codes under “General” in the left-side navigation menu:
Note: Account code settings will be available only when your project has Start+ and/or Hours+ active. If your project only has Start+ active, only Deal Memo Visibility settings can be changed. If your project only has Hours+ active, only Timecard Visibility settings can be changed. If your project is using both Start+ and Hours+, all settings will appear. |
Overall Account Code Settings
Above the table of account codes, you can flip the slider(s) on or off for the following options:
- Allow disabling auto-coding for individual timecards: Allows department heads to override defaults on a per-timecard basis.
- Account Codes open by default - Only for Department Head View: Account code fields will remain in edit state for easy changes/management.
Editing Account Code Settings
Account codes can be enabled or disabled via the “Enabled” column by flipping the slider on or off:
You can edit the Account Code Description via the “Description column”:
Allowance details can be edited for Start+ via the “Deal Memo Visibility” columns and for Hour via the “Timecard Visibility” columns:
Start+ Account Code Settings
For Start+, you can edit the following account code settings:
- Offer Settings: Allows you to select whether the allowance is “Available” or “Required” when creating an offer in Start+. Marking an account code as required will enable the Timecard Visibility columns. Use the dropdown to make your selection.
- Default: Allows you to assign an account code default for offers created in Start+.
Hours+ Account Code Settings
For Hours+, you can edit if an allowance is visible to department heads and crew members during timecard creation as well as mark any visible account code as a mandatory field for a timecard.
Check or uncheck the desired boxes.
Saving Account Code Settings
Once you have made all desired changes to the account code settings for your project, click the Save changes button:
