If you encounter an error when attempting to save changes in the Daily or Batch tabs, follow these steps to preserve your data and complete the save successfully.
Why is this happening?
Occasionally, the Daily or Batch tabs may display an error message when you attempt to save your changes. This typically occurs when the application needs to sync with the latest server data before processing your save request. The good news: Your entered data can be preserved by refreshing the data before saving.
How to Preserve Your Changes
- When you encounter a save error, click OK
- Click File in the top-left corner of the app and select Refresh Data
- Click No when prompted to save. This allows the system to refresh the server data while preserving the changes you've made in the grid. If you click yes at this point, you'll encounter the same error again.
- Once the data refresh is complete, your changes will still be visible in the grid
- Now you can safely click Save to submit your changes:
